Friday - Lenzerheide

Today, Friday, Py went to Lenzerheide for one more day on the board. It was still cold, -12C at the base, but the sun made it through the sligh cloud cover, little snow fall. Charging up his Chip card again for the day and taking the little T-bar up to the bigger connecting chair lift.

Traversing all the way North of the area, multiple runs up and down zig-zig towards N. 'Half-way-up' it was slightly snowing while getting to the many peaks he always came out of the cloud and crystal clear sky and a great view was waiting. Playing around a bit at the fun area and a few more runs until he stopped at Alp Staetz for lunch and decided on a big Salat put together himself at the salad bar - just 5 Stutz.

With new energy he took the Staetzhorn lift to the top, just little below the highest peak of the area at 2575m, from there the black run 50 down and as it was so good, he did it again before further traversing all the way south, well, always including some runs all over including a ride to the base one half way S. Finally he made his way to Piz Scalottas. The chair ride up was the coldes and a bit scary with no sight at all at times, snowing and really cold.

Amazingly on 2323m the chair just dived out of the cloud and nice warm feeling sun was hitting Py. Still cold from the ride he felt like taking a short warmup break and stepped onto the nice wind protected porch of the Piz Scalottas House. Almost empty up there, the time was approaching 4p, he ordered a Cappuccino and a Nusstange.

After that, he finished the day up with a great run all the way down to Lenzerheide town. And the best ever, he did not felt a bit tiered or out of power at the end of the day at all. Great day. And probably the most fun power/strength training possible, it just does not feel like it but pure fun!

Took the bus-train-bus connection back up to Seewis.
